British Baby Shower

My girlfriend Hillary is about to have her second baby, a girl.  Everyone gets a baby shower here in our ward and it was my turn to throw one.  I was excited!!  I had a few ideas swimming around my head.  Add that to feeling crafty and you got fascinator hats.  I spent a couple of nights hot gluing fabric scraps to the lids of plastic containers (like from large yogurt tubs) then adding toile, feathers, flowers and other kinds of decorative flare.  I loved each one I made.  I had enough for each girl that attended and they all willingly wore theirs during the gathering and took them home.  I think the British have a good thing going with these hats.  I wore one to church the following day and hope I can get away with wearing them in the future.
